UI GreenMetric

On December 11, 2017, the evaluation results of the World Green University were released. Weifang Institute of Technology (formerly Lishan College of Shandong Normal University) ranked 21 in the world, and energy and climate impact measures ranked first in the world. The 2017 Green Index World University Ranking, which is the seventh year UI GreenMetric released the World University Ranking, is different from the current authoritative world university rankings. UI GreenMetric selected 619 world universities based on their achievements in green campus construction and sustainable development education. On the basis of ranking 21st in the world in 2017 and 17th in 2018, the university ranked first in the world green university in 2019 and 2020.
